- 3 strips bacon
- 2 ounces breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 0.5 ground lamb
- 6 servings iceberg lettuce
- 1 small onion
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- 6 servings salt and pepper
- 6 grain rolls
- 6 servings tomatoes
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, mix together the lamb, breadcrumbs, onion, oregano, bacon and salt and pepper. Bind together with the egg.Divide the mixture into 6, roll into balls and flatten with the palm of your hand. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. 2. Place the burgers on a preheated grill and cook for 5-6 minutes each side, or until cooked to your preferred doneness. 3. Serve each burger in a warm toasted roll filled with a lettuce and tomato garnish.
